Articles explain general ideas and may not suit your situation. Not a bank or regulated financial service
Rovezi is a software tool for keeping records. It is not:
- a bank, non-banking financial company (NBFC), lender or credit bureau;
- a payment system, payment aggregator, payment gateway, prepaid wallet or UPI app;
- an account aggregator, investment adviser, broker, insurer or debt collector.
We do not hold deposits, move money, issue cards, give credit or carry out any activity that requires a licence or registration from the Reserve Bank of India, SEBI, IRDAI or any other regulator. Recording a payment, settlement or statement in Rovezidoes not pay anyone or create a legal demand.
Figures depend on your entries
Balances, card limits, amounts owed, reports and statements are calculated exactly from the information you enter or import.Rovezi does not connect to your bank or card provider, so it cannot know about a transaction you have not recorded, and it cannot correct a wrong amount or date you entered. Your bank's or card issuer's own statement is the authoritative record. Reconcile with it regularly, especially before you settle up with someone.
Currency conversions, foreign-currency estimates and categories are shown as you or your statement record them; they are not official exchange rates or tax classifications.
Shared money between people
When you record that someone owes you, or you owe someone, Rovezi keeps a clear record for both of you. It does not decide who is right in a disagreement, and a share link or statement is not proof of a debt in law. Please talk to the other person, and take advice if a dispute is serious.
